24-2 run shoots Rockets to big win over Sharon
Jence Rhoads scored 18 points and nearly recorded a quadruple-double as the Slippery Rock HighSchool girls basketball team rallied for a 59-46 region win on the road against Sharon Monday night.
The Rockets (11-9, 6-3) went on a 24-2 run that spanned from the middle of the third quarter until one minute was remaining in the game to snatch the win from the Tigers (16-3, 8-1), who came into the game undefeated in the region.
Rhoads also had 10 assists, eight rebounds and nine steals.
Karly Rhoads added 15 points, Kourtney Rhoads had 12 and Sarah Cessar had 10 for the Rockets.
