Fabian, Thumma
Butler residents Julie Fabian and Shane Thumma were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at North Main Street Church of God in Butler Township. The Rev. David Brown officiated. A reception followed at the Willow in Pittsburgh.
The bride is the daughter of Rich and Kathy Fabian of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Cheryl Rhodes of Newville.
The matron of honor was Laura Kumar of San Mateo, Calif.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Todd Nealy of Carlisle. The usher was William Klein of Mars.
The bride is a 1988 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 1992 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for Lifesteps in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Carlisle High School. He works for Insight Pipe in Harmony.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Venice, Italy, and the Greek Islands, the couple is making their home in Penn Township.
