Monday — Police reported several more cases of vandalism to vehicles and other property over the weekend. Vandals have been targeting vehicles in the city for several weeks.In the latest incidents, a tire was cut between Saturday night and Sunday morning on a vehicle parked on West Penn Street, and the bodies of two cars on North Bluff Street were scratched and the hood of one of those two was smashed.Meanwhile, a pontoon boat at a South Chestnut Street home was vandalized with greenish yellow spray paint sometime between Wednesday and Friday.7:30 p.m. Thursday — A15-year-old girl was arrested for assaulting her mother during an argument at the 40-year-old victim's home. The girl is charged in juvenile court with simple assault.Apolice report did not identify the defendant or her mother, or where they live. The report said the girl punched, kicked and slapped her mother during an argument that started because the teen used the victim's cell phone without permission.

1:25 p.m. Monday — Two 17-year-old Butler girls were cited for disorderly conduct following a fight at the Butler Senior High School. Police did not identify the girls.10:27 a.m. Monday — A 16-year-old boy was allegedly intoxicated when he showed up for class at the Butler Intermediate High School.The boy, who police did not identify, ran from school officials and into nearby woods. Police arrested him onHansen Avenue following a brief chase. The boy is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.3:40 a.m. Saturday — Police discovered the Beer Zone on Hansen Avenue was broken into after receiving a call that men wearing overalls were acting suspicious on Kendall Avenue.Aneighbor apparently startled the men, seen near parked vehicles, who were seen running south on Kendall Avenue. Officers found two cases of beer on Kendall Avenue and a third case on Evergreen Drive.Police are reviewing videotape from a store security camera, as part of the ongoing investigation.12:47 a.m. Saturday — Joelle Lees, 25, of Butler faces a charge of simple assault for allegedly hitting a resident of Old Plank Estates in the head with a pot. The victim, who police did not identity, suffered a small cut to the side of her head.12:40 a.m. Saturday — Richard Walker, 41, of Butler is accused of making too much noise while riding an all-terrain vehicle up and down Mercer Road near Victory Road. Officers said that earlier in the day they had warned Walker about the noise complaint. Police said he was cited for disorderly conduct.

4:11 p.m. Monday — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle car crash at South Pike Road and Edgewood Drive.Police said the crash occurred when a car driven by Robert Kirkwood Jr., no age given, of Shelocta, Indiana County, struck the rear of a car driven by Marlee Fritz, no age given, of Freeport. The collision pushed Fritz's vehicle into a car driven by Allison Barnett, no age given, of Sarver.Apolice report did not identify which drivers were injured; one had to be taken to the hospital.3:29 p.m. Monday — A Sarver teenager, who police did not identify, suffered minor injuries when a vehicle the youth was driving struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Edward Rokoski, no age given, of Sarver, at South Pike Road and Rambler Drive.

7:30 p.m. Monday — Walter Ondrizek, 47, of Cabot was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a guardrail on Crisswell Drive in Penn Township.2:30 p.m. Monday — A boy reportedly escaped the Summit Academy detention facility on HermanRoad in Summit Township. The boy, who police did not identify, was last seen wearing tan pants, a blue shirt and a red and blue tie.

Sunday — An unknown man wearing a disguise made off with money during a home invasion between 10 a.m. and noon at a Route 861 home in Rimersburg. Police said the robber forced a 69-year-old Rimersburg man to turn over the money.7:10 p.m. Saturday — Shane R. Robinson, 23, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 268 in Sugarcreek Township.

Monday — Ared and black Honda XR50 dirt bike was reported stolen during the weekend at the Reas Court home of Laura Calderone in Clintonville.11:30 a.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Richard L. Woods, 52, and Stephanie R. Lambert, 35, both of Emlenton collided at Hornbery and Rockland-Nickelville roads in Rockland Township. Woods was treated at UPMC Northwest in Seneca for moderate injuries.
