Lasko in top 5 in teen pageant
Miss Butler County Teen USA Karina Latsko made the top five and was named fourth-runner up in the 2017 Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Pageant last weekend at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Pittsburgh International Airport.
Latsko, 17, is the daughter of Donna and Michael Latsko of Cranberry Township.
Miss Butler County USA Erin Wamsley competed for the title of Miss Pennsylvania USA at the same event, but did not advance to the top 15 in the competition.
Wamsley, 19, is the daughter of Luellen Henderson of Sarver.’
Erin was crowned Miss Butler County USA at the April pageant at St. Barnabas Health System’s Kean Theatre.
Karina was crowned Miss Butler County Teen USA at the same event.
The Miss Butler County USA and Miss Butler County Teen USA pageants, the official preliminaries to the state pageants, are independently produced and directed by Marilyn E. Kane and her daughter, Marilyn Kane.
The national Miss Teen USA pageant and the nationally televised Miss USA pageant, which has not been scheduled, are both part of The Miss Universe Organization.
