Butler netters sweep North Hills
Kelsey Rice had nine kills, Amy Achesinski had eight kills and Kala Schnur had 21 assists to power the Butler volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-18, 25-21 sweep over North Hills Tuesday.
Butler (7-5, 3-3) plays Thursday at Shaler.

- Jodi Leopold notched a double-digit kill night as the Planets remained unbeaten in section play at 8-0 with a 25-19, 25-19, 25-17 win.
Mars (8-3 overall) travels to Ambridge Thursday.

Carly Whisler had six kills and Kirsten Brant had seven service points to key the Knights' 26-24, 25-10, 25-17 triumph.
Leanne Wiefling added seven service points and 11 assists for the Knoch (6-2, 6-2), which plays at Northgate Thursday.
