SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Tina Freehling, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault, filed Dec. 13 by state police. Freehling was sentenced to pay $416.50 in fines and court costs.

Brett Hartshorn, 26, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct, filed Dec. 15 by Saxonburg police.

Christina Johnson, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of theft by deception and forgery, filed June 5 by Buffalo Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis E. Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Sarah Archer, 19, of Butler waived to court charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and access device fraud, filed March 31.Michelle Little, 38, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, accident involving damage to attended vehicle, reckless driving, failure to stop and render aid and failure to notify police of accident, filed Nov. 5.Joann K. Mavilla, 50, of West View waived to court a charge of theft by unlawful taking, filed Dec. 11.Carlos Rocha, 27, of Saddle Brook, N.J., waived to court charges of receiving stolen property and driving without a license, filed Dec. 15.
