SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Tina Freehling, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault, filed Dec. 13 by state police. Freehling was sentenced to pay $416.50 in fines and court costs.

Brett Hartshorn, 26, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct, filed Dec. 15 by Saxonburg police.

Christina Johnson, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of theft by deception and forgery, filed June 5 by Buffalo Township police.

Mavilla, 50, of West View waived to court a charge of theft by unlawful taking, filed Dec. 11.Carlos Rocha, 27, of Saddle Brook, N.J., waived to court charges of receiving stolen property and driving without a license, filed Dec. 15.
