3 p.m. Sunday — Wendy Losser, 37, of Butler reported someone damaged her car after she noticed white spots on its hood. The estimated value of damages is $300.2:28 p.m. Aug. 20 — A two-car accident occurred after a 17-year-old Butler boy failed to stop before turning from Robinson Avenue onto Glenn Avenue.A car driven by Marjorie Wise, 54, of Butler struck the side of the teen's car. Police said there was no posted stop sign at the intersection, but the teen was still required by law to stop before merging onto another road.

4:06 p.m. Tuesday — A two-car crash occurred in front of Mikan Motors on New Castle Road. Austin Walters, 18, of Slippery Rock failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn out of the dealership. A vehicle driven by Sharon Murdick, 65, of Butler collided into the side of Walters' car.Aug. 3 — Ja'Net Sherkosky, 38, of Butler was charged with DUI under the highest rate of alcohol following an accident on North McKean Street. Sherkosky had minor injuries after crashing into a utility pole while attempting to make a turn.

Tuesday — A CST Berger Transit level worth about $1,000 was stolen from Adam's Manufacturing along Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township.Monday — A suspect fled after driving over five head stones in the Prairie Cemetery in Mercer Township. Police say the vehicle may be red.Monday — Someone stole a GPS unit from a van parked at a home on Herman Road in Summit Township. The GPS is valued at $100.9:20 p.m. Saturday — Police believe Joseph Hemphill, 23, of Slippery Rock was driving under the influence when he was pulled over for numerous traffic violations near the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Charges are pending blood test results.Saturday — Mandy Libecco, 30, reported that someone stole two rings from her home in Parker Township. Libecco said the rings were inherited from her grandmother and have great sentimental value.

4:09 p.m. Tuesday — A Cranberry Township man had moderate injuries after a medical condition caused him to crash his car on Interstate 79.Mark. J. Lovetro, 56, lost consciousness while driving on the interstate in Jackson Township near Millbrook Road, causing him to crash into a ditch. His vehicle rolled over before it struck a cluster of small trees and bushes. Lovetro was taken to the Grove City Medical Center following the crash.Tuesday — Robert Chestnut of Grove City reported someone stole a 1953 Ford Jubileer Tractor and a brush hog from his property on Brent Road.5:30 a.m. Saturday — Brad L. Hindman, 36, of Grove City was charged with four traffic violations and a nontraffic violation after he fled an accident.Hindman was traveling west on Main Street when his pickup truck left the street and hit two mailboxes and a large tree near the YMCA. Hindman was found about two hours after the accident.

Wednesday — Katja Kulp reported someone stole a BMX bike from her porch sometime last week. The bike is valued at $50.Tuesday — Moises Ferreira, 19, of Grove City crashed his car into a tree in Memorial Park. He told police he wrecked because his car's brakes failed.
