Pennell fires no-hitter in Seneca win
Lauren Pennell pitched a five-inning no-hitter and the Seneca Valley softball team's lineup provided plenty of punch at the plate in a 10-0 win over Mt. Lebanon Friday .
Pennell struck out four and walked two in five innings.
Tina Mangola and Jackie Mangola each drove in two runs. Ali Intihar, who is hitting .550 this season, also had two hits for the Raiders (5-1).
In other action:
Mars' Monica Glomb gave up just one run on four hits while striking out three as the Planets defeated North Hills 3-1.
Hannah Taggert led the Mars offense with two hits and two RBI.
Dana Gillis singled twice and Kaitlin Carson also collected a hit, but Butler (1-6) fell to Ellwood City 6-0.
