Mars' Frye scores 1,000th point in win

Mars senior guard Tim Frye surpassed the 1,000 career-point milestone with 21 points in a 77-52 road in a boys basketball victory over Kittanning Tuesday night.

Frye scored 11 points in the second quarter, after which his team led 46-16. He now has 1,013 career points.

Also scoring in double figures for the Planets were Charlie Jaicks (14), Steve Cress (14), Vinny Smith (12) and Robbie Herold (11).
