The Toninis in 1959

Julio and Marlene Tonini celebrated 50 years of marriage with a reception with family and friends at Shakespeare's in Ellwood City.

Tonini married the former Marlene Rich on July 11, 1959, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, Vicky Schaffner of Severn, Md., Debbie Greco of Butler, Michael Tonini of St. Louis, Mo., and Jay Tonini and Jeff Tonini, both of Butler.

They also have 11 grandchildren.

Tonini is retired from Servistar Corp. He is a member of the Moraine Flying Club.

Mrs. Tonini is a homemaker. She also volunteers at her church.

The Toninis attend St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
