At least one Butler teen is accused of multiple thefts in July in which bicycles and items from vehicles were stolen in Connoquenessing, state police said Wednesday, Aug. 12.

State police linked a 17-year-old boy to the July 27 and 28 incidents. In the July 27 incident, police said multiple juveniles, including a 17-year-old, ransacked four vehicles along Main Street.

Police said it was part of “an ongoing course of conduct” in Connoquenessing.

In the July 28 incident, police said a known 17-year-old stole three bikes from the rear of a residence with a total value of $595.

Investigations are ongoing, police said.
