A benefit dinner and raffles are being held in October for Rowan Renee Sciullo, a Butler girl who lost the use of her legs when the vehicle she was in struck a tree Aug. 3.

The event will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Butler American Legion Post 117, 413 S. Main St. in Butler. The cost for dinner is $10 and will feature spaghetti, meatballs, a side salad and dinner roll.

A Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle will also take place.

According to the event flyer, there is a need for spaghetti noodles and jars of pasta sauce for the event. Any baskets for the auction or donations can be dropped off to the bartender at the Legion post.
