Police reports as of July 8
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
June 24 — Steven Patrick Booth, 46, of Sarver, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 28 incident. Police said Booth showed signs of impairment.
June 26 — James Russell, 24, of Butler, was charged with one felony count each of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and firearm possession while prohibited and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 24 incident. Police said Russell had suspected fentanyl, suspected oxycodone, a Taurus 9mm pistol and a digital scale.
June 24 — Jason Elliott Douglas, 57, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor driving on a suspended license following a June 12 traffic stop.
June 22 — Stephen Anthony Winstead, 27, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft and false reports following a June 16 incident. Police said Winstead stole $174.90 in merchandise from a smoke shop then gave police a different name.
June 16 — Nicholas J. Tavernaris, 32, of Rochester, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 8 traffic stop in Cranberry Township. Police said Tavernaris’ blood alcohol content was 0.133%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 18 — Victoria M. Maher, 54, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a June 18 incident. Police said Maher showed signs of impairment.
June 18 — Brennan Lee Ehrman, 40, of West Mifflin, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 13 traffic stop in Worth Township. Police said Ehrman had a blood alcohol content of 0.2%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 18 — Camron James Reed, 21, of New Castle, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 11 incident in Slippery Rock. Police said Reed had a blood alcohol content of 0.115%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 22 — Dakota Irvin, 34, of Grand Island, N.Y., was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 30 crash in Prospect. Police said Irvin had suspected marijuana in an ashtray and showed signs of impairment.
June 22 — Steven Michael Sheptak, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespass following a June 20 incident in Summit Township. Police said Sheptak was at a residence where he was not permitted.
June 23 — Chase Kegan Rhoades, 30, of Butler, was charged with felony transfer of firearm and misdemeanor unsworn falsification to authorities following a Dec. 16 incident in Center Township. Police said Rhoades answered falsely on a firearms application.
June 23 — Ryan Michael Fichter, 35, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 18 incident in Summit Township. Police said Fichter had a blood alcohol content of 0.208%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 23 — Gordon Demitrius Brown, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 7 traffic stop in Clay Township. Police said Brown had a blood alcohol content of 0.144%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 23 — Jesse Cole Kastelic, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Nov. 11 traffic stop in Clearfield Township. Police said Kastelic had a marijuana pipe.
June 23 — Susan Hunter Fleming, 50, of Cranberry Township, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a Nov. 17 crash in Center Township. Police said Fleming pulled away from police, continued to drink alcohol after police arrived and had a blood alcohol content of 0.25%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
June 24 — Lindsay Elaine Leidy, 29, of New Kensington, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 16 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Leidy had a marijuana blunt.
June 24 — Dalton Ryan Stitt, 38, of Kittanning, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 18 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Stitt had a blood alcohol content of 0.166%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
