Kenneth Myers Jr.

Myers

Kenneth Myers Jr., 90, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

He was born in New Kensington, Pa. on July 27, 1935, son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Irene (Falkevitz) Myers.

Kenneth retired from Steamfitters Local 449, after 40 years of service. People he worked with called him “Kenny Good Guy.” In his free time, he was a master plumber and mechanic who would fix many problems, free of charge.

Kenneth was heavily involved in the Vagabonds, where he was a past treasurer. He was a bingo caller, bus driver and helper at Tanglewood Senior Center and Vagabond Center. He also was involved with helping the Catholic Daughters of America, with loading equipment.

In his younger years, Kenneth loved to camp and hunt at his camp in Dents Run in his large orange truck with a camper on it.

Kenneth was known for being good-natured and always smiling. He always did the right thing; was honest, upright and had good morals.

He was lifelong member of the Butler Moose Lodge and a member of All Saints Parish, and when he was able, he would go to Mass every day.

Kenneth was the husband of the late Patricia (Graham) Myers for 58 years until her passing; father of Diane Weiland, Elaine (Bill Corbin) Bonus, Terry and Dennis Myers; brother of Carl (Lois) Myers and Francis Myers; grandfather of Robert (Cora) Weiland, Kenneth (Rosalie) and Aaron (Addison) Bonus, Ashley and Kevin Myers and Skyler (Courtney Helmstetter) Hetrick; and great-grandfather of Ezra and Maeve Weiland, Coali, Liam, Aiden, Oliver, Finnegan and Eliza Bonus. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Patsy Bachman, whom he shared a room with at St. John’s; and his daughter-in-law, Linda Myers.

Along with his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Tim Myers; and daughter, Tina Hetrick; sister, Eleanor Fallecker; and grandson, Daniel Weiland.
