Even though Meijer has not yet finished its already planned Western Pennsylvania locations, the Michigan-based grocer is looking at building a third location in Butler County.
Mark Gordon, chair of the Butler County Planning Commission, said Meijer’s real estate agent was working with him to scout locations for a store that was “closer to the middle of the county.”
While nothing has been formally announced, Meijer has already looked at locations and conversations are ongoing, according to Gordon.
Meijer did not respond to a request for comment.
The proposed third location comes after the approval of locations in Cranberry Township in December 2025 and Jackson Township in May 2026.
