Worthington Carnival returns June 15

The Worthington Carnival will be back June 15 to 20 for live entertainment, food and rides all five days at the Worthington-West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department.

Rides will begin running each day at 6:30 p.m., when parades and other activities begin. Each day is headlined by a band providing music all night.

Monday evening, June 15, The Jentz Band will play from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., alongside the Battle of the Barrel event at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m., the Farmers and Antique Car Parade will start. Washboard Tony & Rockin Rob will perform the same night from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The next day’s parade is the Kiddies Parade, starting at 6:30 p.m., accompanied by The Full Throttle Band from 6:30 until 10:30 p.m. for live music.

The Firemen’s Parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday when Dinnerbell Road will begin playing up through 10:30 p.m.

Friday evening, at 6:30 p.m., the bike parade will begin. This includes dirt bikes, four wheelers, golf carts, and side-by-sides. The Fabulous Gunslingers will play that night until 10:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Butch’s Bucket Brigade 5K Run/Walk will start at 9 a.m., followed by the Kids Bicycle Race at 11 a.m. That night, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., the Rattlebone Band will play, and fireworks will be at 10 p.m. to top off the week.
