Mandziara

Margaret Rose Mandziara, 87, of Mars, formerly of Beechview, passed away Monday morning, June 8, 2026, at Passavant Retirement Community, in Zelienople.

Born in New York City, N.Y., on Oct. 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Olbik Morosky.

Margaret had been a secretary for 20 years with Graphic Communications International Union in Pittsburgh.

She had been a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church.

She was the mother of Jeannine O’Patchen (Richard) and Elizabeth Traverso (Gregg), both of Harmony, Marcia Zgela (Eric), of West Sunbury, and Michelle Reitler (Roger), of Wattersonville, Pa.; grandmother of Jacqueline, Rachel, Natalie, Michael, Gina, Nicholas, Tony and Alex; great-grandmother of Trace, Shiloh, Rosemary and Harmony; and sister of Joan Komer, of Whitehall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Bill” Mandziara, whom she married Feb. 1, 1958, and who died July 7, 2020; by her daughter, Laura Kane; and by two granddaughters, Kayleigh and Abigail.

MANDZIARA — Friends of Margaret Rose Mandziara, who died Monday, June 8, 2026, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
