Georgeanne ‘Gigi’ Kozusko
Georgeanne L. “Gigi” Kozusko, 63, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Born June 16, 1962, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of Karen L. (O’Donnell) Kozusko and the late John T. Kozusko.
Gigi was a 1981 graduate of Knoch High School. She later earned her Associate of Applied Science in early childhood education.
Gigi was a resident of Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Butler. She was baptized Catholic and most recently attended North Main Street Church of God, in Butler. She worked for many years caring for the elderly and as a nanny.
Gigi was a loving, caring and thoughtful person. She enjoyed scuba diving, swimming, canoeing, going to the beach and collecting seashells. She loved horseback riding and her dogs. Gigi also enjoyed crafting, going to yard sales and flea markets. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
In addition to her mother, Karen, she is survived by her sisters, Kimberly Papania and her companion, Dave Odoski, and Dianne Wisniewski and her husband, Vince; her nephews, Justin, Jon, Luke and Matt; and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
In addition to her father, John, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Kozusko.
KOZUSKO — A memorial service for Georgeanne L. “Gigi” Kozusko, who died Saturday, June 6, 2026, will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Extension, Butler.
Gigi will be laid to rest privately at Northside Cemetery in Butler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gigi’s honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
