Chick-fil-A under construction in Adams Township
Nearly a year after final approval was given, movement has begun on construction of a Chick-fil-A in Adams Township.
The township board of supervisors gave final approval for the restaurant at the Adams Corners shopping center on Route 228 in July 2025.
As of Thursday, June 4, a construction fence was set up around the location with a sign indicating that a Chick-fil-A is coming soon.
An opening date for the restaurant is not yet known. Representatives from Chick-fil-A told supervisors in March they expect the restaurant to open by November.
The only Chick-fil-A operating in the county is along Route 228 in Cranberry Township.
Another Chick-fil-A was approved in November 2025 for the Butler Crossing shopping center in Butler Township. Construction has not begun at that location.
Adams Corners also features a Sheetz, a GetGo, an Aldi grocery store, a McDonald’s and Goddard School for Early Childhood Development. A Chipotle restaurant also is planned for the shopping center.
