Patricia Cousins

Patricia C. Cousins, 98, of Herman, passed away in the comfort of her home Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Born April 3, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late George Snyder and Clare Mangel Snyder.

Patricia was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, and she taught for many years at St. Mary School.

She is survived by three children, Father John Cousins, OFM, Cap, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pam Tait, of Butler, and Jodi Snyder and her husband, Phil, of Butler; two grandsons; two stepgrandsons; three great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul J. “Jack” Cousins, who passed away July 13, 2018; four brothers and three sisters.

COUSINS — Friends of Patricia C. Cousins, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2026, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with Patricia’s son, the Rev. John Cousins, OFM Cap., officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME SOUTH SIDE, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
