PennDOT announced a detour for a section of Prospect Road in Connoquenessing Township for the replacement of a larger drainage pipe under the road.

From June 8 to 18, the road will close between the intersections of Little Creek Road and Shannon Road. Work is weather dependent.

To detour when traveling south, PennDOT recommends turning on to Shannon Road, turning right to Evans City Road, keeping right to Connoquenessing Main Street and then turning right to Harmony Street.
