Mason Phillips and Mitchell Covert will represent Butler County Community College men’s golf at nationals in June, and two women’s golfers will compete in an open national tournament as well.

Phillips and Covert, who won a playoff against a teammate at a regional qualifier Tuesday, will compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national championships June 1-5 at Chautaugua Golf Club, in New York.

On the women’s side, Taylor Voloch and Leah McClellan will also vie for All-American status. Voloch became the first Pioneer to do so last year when she finished 14th in the nation. The 18 earn the designation.
