Nevaeh Schweinsberg
Nevaeh Skye Schweinsberg, 19, of Butler, passed away far too soon on Saturday, May 16, 2026, following a tragic automobile accident.
Born May 9, 2007, in Butler, she was the daughter of Justin Schweinsberg and Alysha Zurzolo.
She was a graduate of Butler High School, and she formerly worked in the dietary department of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Affectionately known as “Nay” by those who loved her most, Nevaeh was beautiful inside and out. Though naturally stunning, she never let her looks define her. She remained grounded, down-to-earth and unapologetically herself. She could be sassy and spirited, but beneath it all, she had a true heart of gold.
Nevaeh loved music and enjoyed going to concerts, making memories with friends and family and living life to the fullest. She rooted for the underdog, cared deeply for the people she loved and had a way of making an impression on everyone who knew her.
She will be remembered as a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend whose presence brought light, laughter and energy wherever she went.
Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her forever.
In honor of Nevaeh’s memory, the family asks everyone to please make the safe choice to never drink and drive, never get into a vehicle with someone who has been drinking and always wear a seat belt.
Nevaeh is survived by her father, Justin Schweinsberg, of Butler; her mother Alysha Zurzolo, of Butler; three siblings, Maliyah Schweinsberg, Jaxton Schweinsberg and Havanah Schweinsberg, all of Butler; her paternal grandmother, Melissa Frye, of Anderson, Ind.; her paternal grandfather, Charlie Schweinsberg, of Parker; her maternal grandmother, Nancy “Mimi” Hussin-Zurzolo, of Butler; and lots of aunts, including Lauralee Schweinsberg, of Butler; and uncles, including Frank Zurzolo, Bradley Zurzolo and Shaun Todd, all of Butler; and many cousins.
