Donna M. McCall, 101, of Hollidaysburg, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

Donna was born in Butler on Sept. 27, 1924, to the late Roy and Euphemia (Hoffman) Yarger.

She graduated from Butler High School in June of 1942. During her lifetime, Donna worked at Miller’s Shoes, the Bantam Car Company and was the office manager at Cunningham, McCall, and Shanor Plumbing and Heating.

Her greatest job, however, was raising her four daughters: Kay Lane (Robert), of Brighton, Mich., Pamela Vacheenas (James), of Fallston, Md., Rebecca Hornung (William), of Hollidaysburg, and Marsha Dippold (Albert), of Ridgway, Pa. Donna also had eight grandchildren, Robert, Eric, Amber, Rayce, Taylor, Briana, Albert and Allison; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, James Yarger; and her sister, Joanne Winters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Kenneth McCall, whom she married Jan. 5, 1945, and who passed away Nov. 28, 2018. She was also preceded by her brother, Clarence “Bud” Hockenberry; and her sister, Jane Geibel.

Donna had been a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Butler. Donna volunteered for 25 years in the church nursery. She has served as a Girl Scout leader, homeroom mother and church greeter. Donna was a great seamstress, crocheted, and loved poetry and playing cards. In June of 2013, she and Kenneth moved to the Presbyterian Retirement Village in Hollidaysburg. Donna loved her neighbors, her friends, her church and her family.

MCCALL — Family and friends of Donna M. McCall, who died Wednesday, May 13, 2026, will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Butler Global Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Dr. Laura A. Saffell officiating.

She will be laid to rest along with her husband at Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
