Man accused of harassing Buffalo Township business

A North Apollo man is accused of harassing a Buffalo Township business.

Spencer Thomas Baker, 21, was charged Monday, May 11, by Buffalo Township police with one misdemeanor count each of harassment, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct following an April 19 incident.

Police said Baker left a message on the voicemail of Cunningham & Sons Tree Care asking for a quote for “having some guys that like beating women come to my house” so he could assault them.

The message continued, “I’m willing to spend up to five grand to kill a (expletive),” police said.

Police said the business owners believed the call was related to a woman who had allegedly been slandering the business on social media.

Attempts to reach the business for comment were unsuccessful.

Baker’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. June 9 before District Judge Jack Ripper.
