Portersville starts search for new mayor
PORTERSVILLE — Borough Councilman Dave Marcyjanik said Portersville has just begun the process of seeking interested candidates for the borough’s next mayor, who will succeed Brian Bailey.
Bailey died on Sunday, April 19. He had served as mayor for a decade prior to his death.
“No decision has been made,” Marcyjanik said at a borough council meeting on Monday night, May 4. “Brian just passed less than two weeks ago, so it’s still up in the air.”
