Police: Valencia man groped woman at bonfire
A Valencia man is accused of groping a woman at a bonfire in Valencia.
Matthew Frederick Lange, 36, was charged Saturday, April 18, with misdemeanor indecent assault following an incident that day.
Adams Township police said they were dispatched to a Valencia home and interviewed the woman. The woman told police she and her aunt had met a group of men at a Sheetz. Police said one of the men, later identified as Lange, called the woman “beautiful and short” and made threatening comments toward her.
Police said the group then went to a bonfire. The woman told police Lange continuously groped her breast and would not let her go while in the backyard.
Lange’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 29, before District Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz. He’s represented by attorney David Shrager of Shrager Defense Attorneys.
