Northern Butler County under severe thunderstorm warning
Northern Butler County has been placed under a severe thunderstorm warning.
The alert was issued at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday, April 16.
According to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh, a severe thunderstorm with gusts reaching 60 mph was located near Slippery Rock and Grove City. The warning is currently set to expire at 5:30 p.m.
Slippery Rock, East Brady, Harrisville, Parker, Bruin, West Liberty and Petrolia were named among impacted locations.
Northwestern Armstrong County, southwestern Venango County and Clarion County are also under the warning
