Charles F. Weston, 85, of Cabot, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born March 17, 1941, in Philipsburg, Pa., he was the son of Blair Gearhart Weston and Caroline C. Flaitz Weston.

Chuck served in the U.S. Army. He had worked as a laser optician for II-VI and a bus driver for Bauman Bus Co. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. He was a 60 year member of the Osceola Mills Masonic lodge, Williamsport Consistory and the Syria Shrine.

He was active in the Boy Scouts for many years, having served as scoutmaster for Troop 21 and numerous positions at the council level. He received his Wood Badge, Silver Beaver and the Dan Beard Award. He was a former member of Butler County Amateur Radio Association. He was an avid musician, playing in the Harrisville Community Band and the Armstrong Community Band and served as choir director for several churches.

Surviving are his wife, Elva Weston, whom he married June 28, 1969; three sons, John (Kelly) Weston, of Butler, Scott (Cyndl Hale) Weston, of Oakmont, and Bill (Megan) Weston, of Saxonburg; and five grandchildren, Evan, Garrett, T.J., Scarlett and Savannah.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

WESTON — Friends of Charles F. Weston, who died Friday, April 3, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joshua Radke and Associate Pastor Jeannine Sanford officiating.

Masonic services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
