Applications now open for scholarships
The Tri-County Workforce Investment Board has opened up applications for scholarships aimed to help students looking for an education in technology fields.
Scholarships are valued at $2,000 each and are open to graduating high school students from Armstrong, Butler and Indiana counties who are interested in attending postsecondary education for a career related or adjacent to AI or robotics in fall 2026.
Other examples include but are not limited to: cybersecurity, robotics, engineering, automation, mechatronics and computer science.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. on April 30 and can be found on the Tri-County Workforce website at tricountywib.org.
