Carl Otis Dietrich, 68, of Butler, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, March 23, 2026, following a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 3, 1957, in Butler, to Ralph and Cynthia Pierce Dietrich.

Carl was a self-employed truck driver.

He is survived by his former wife, Mary Dietrich; son, Matthew; daughters, Kitzie, Brandi and Darlene; and special friend, Laura Slaback.

He is also survived by his sisters, Evelyn Oesterling, Vera Angles, Winifred Hiles, Rose Mainhart, Edna Mae Neff and Kathleen Sherman; brothers, Howard Dietrich and Chester Dietrich; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chester; brother, Glen Dietrich; and sisters, Phyllis Dunmar and Caroline Sisley.

Burial will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
