William F. “Bill” Fish, 80, of Butler, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026.

He was born Jan. 2, 1946, in New Kensington, Pa., and was the son to the late Walter and Dorothy (Cable) Fish.

Bill was a 1963 graduate of Franklin Regional High School and furthered his education at Salem Bible College, Salem, Ohio.

Most of his adult life, Bill was involved in pastoral ministry and missionary work in Vanuatu. Bill was industrious all his life, pursuing whatever his hand found to do. His hobbies and accomplishments were many, but most outstanding was his devotion to God and his love for his family. He also loved helping his relatives and many friends.

Bill was the beloved husband of Esther (Cope) Fish, whom he married April 28, 1964; father of Marilyn (Daryl) Muir, Bill (Esther) Fish, Marlene Rhine, Carol (Jeffrey) Buzard, Linda (Brendan) Kokinda and Paul (Kimberly) Fish; brother of Dan (Brenda) Fish; grandfather of Shane, Brennan, Bill, Dustin, Becky, Jeffrey, Ashley, Jessica, Brett, Danielle, Keri, Brittany, Derek, Cara, Cheyenne, Cheney, Laura, Sierra, Paul, Anthony, Nathan, Ryan, Jenna and David; great-grandfather of 30.

Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Isabelle (Terry) Toy, Ruth (Ron) Mayhle and Jesse Fish.

FISH — Family and friends of William F. “Bill” Fish, who died Friday, March 27, 2026, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Road, Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church.

Burial will be held privately at Middleton Friends Cemetery, Columbiana, Ohio.
