The Rotary Club of Slippery Rock is sponsoring a blood drive Wednesday, April 1, at the Slippery Rock Township Municipal Building. The drive will run from noon through 5:30 p.m. at the building, 155 Branchton Road, in Slippery Rock Township.

Donors of all backgrounds and blood types are urgently needed by area patients, a news release from the club said. Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit rcblood.org/donate and enter 16057 in the “location” search to schedule an appointment for the blood drive. Donors can also save time by visiting redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/manage-my-donations/rapidpass to complete health history questions prior to the event.

People donating blood during the Slippery Rock Blood Drive will receive an exclusive Red Cross x Life is Good T-shirt, while supplies last.
