I am writing regarding the Sunday, March 21, edition letter “It takes courage to stand up to tyranny” (Page A4). I am fairly certain you won’t publish my letter — but it is worth it if only for the editor to hear different views.

I feel this reader is misinformed on so many levels, perhaps because he gets his “news” from news outlets like yours. I feel your newspaper is so far left that it is not courage, but prioritization on your part to seek out these types of letters over others that might disagree. It is obvious that this reader only believes in what left news feeds him.

While U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement prioritizes the most dangerous criminals, in many instances, there is collateral collection of other illegal immigrants U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement comes into contact with while performing their duties.

Anyone illegally in the U.S. is fair game for deportation. Their first action upon entering the U.S. was illegal, therefore they are a candidate for deportation. The Butler Eagle should do a better job of providing ALL the news.
