Bonetti

Joanne M. Bonetti, 84, of Slippery Rock, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Pittsburgh.

She was born May 26, 1941, in Slippery Rock, to Burdette Hoffman and Martha Gurney Hoffman.

She married Albert E. Bonetti on July 15, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2016.

Joanne graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1959.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a homemaker, beautician and a teacher’s aide. She was a member of Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her three children, Albert “Eddie” (Laurie) Bonetti Jr., of Tallmadge, Ohio, Joseph E. Bonetti, of Slippery Rock, and Michael Burdette (Dina) Bonetti, of Penn Hills; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Elizabeth “Betty” Connelly, Virginia “Ginny” Lanz, Marilyn “Putty” Arblaster and Donald Hoffman.

BONETTI — Family of Joanne M. Bonetti, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2026, will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle, St. Slippery Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tai Courtemanche, pastor of Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, presiding.

Interment will be immediately following in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
