Roadwork will begin in April on a stretch of Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, according to Lindy Paving.

The company said roadwork will be active from April 1 until Oct. 30 on Route 422 between McConnells Mill Road and about 2,500 feet east of West Park Road, a stretch of 2.27 miles.

“All efforts shall be made to minimize disturbance to traffic flow, but you can expect long-term lane closures and occasional ramp detours,” said Benjamin Brown, the project engineer.

The project will include milling, full-depth patching, overlay with bituminous asphalt, updating the drainage, guide rails and barriers and other miscellaneous items. It also includes milling, paving and miscellaneous work on the Route 19 ramps.
