She was born in Butler on Jan. 9, 1943, and was the daughter of the late William and Doris Wescott Walker. She graduated from the former Fairview Township-Karns City High School, now Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School, in 1960.

She married Vernon Pollock, who survives, on Aug. 26, 1961.

Nancy was a lifetime member of Bruin United Methodist Church, served as a Sunday school teacher for nearly 30 years and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She and her husband enjoyed traveling across the U.S. and had the opportunity to visit England twice to explore their heritage. She loved her three grandsons and was looking forward to welcoming her great-granddaughter this summer.
