Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has been cleared for another six months of distributions out of Butler City Farmers’ Market.
Butler City Council voted Monday, March 23, to approve an agreement with the food bank so it can continue to use the city’s farmers market at 205 S. Chestnut St. for the rest of 2026. The agreement will let the food bank use the building from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month between July and December.
The food bank currently has a monthly distribution at the farmers market. Information and dates for the first half of 2026 can be found at pittsburghfoodbank.org/distributions.
