Paula Riggs
Paula J. Riggs, 68, of Butler passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born in Butler May 27, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Paul and Ida Jean (Wilson) Ritchey. Paula graduated from Mars High School class of 1975 and furthered her education at Butler Community College, where she graduated in 1978.
Paula worked at Zanotti Motor Company for 30 years and then worked at Campbell’s Notary Services before retirement. Paula was known for being loving, kind, compassionate and forgiving. She had a great sense of humor and drama — she was fond of a good fight if the cause was right. Paula loved her cats and reminiscing about her family, animals and friends.
Paula was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved Heinz ketchup. She loved watching “Yellowstone” and “Survivor.” Paula was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, the American Legion Riders of Butler County, and rode with Western Riders.
Paula was the beloved wife of the late Jeffrey Riggs, whom she married in 1999, until his death in 2022; sister of David, Robert and Jeffrey Ritchey; aunt of Robin Roy, Dana Muth, Greg, Brian, Scott, Logan, Madison, Cole and Morgan Ritchey; and great-aunt of six nieces and five nephews.
RIGGS — All services for Paula J. Riggs, who died Wednesday, March 18, 2026, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
