Easter events planned at Valencia Presbyterian Church
The community is invited to celebrate the joy and meaning of Easter with Valencia Presbyterian Church during several special services and events.
Holy Week begins with a Palm Sunday Service at 10 a.m. March 29. Maundy Thursday will be celebrated at 7 p.m. April 2, featuring Communion and the Stripping of the Sanctuary. It’s a tradition that reflects on the events of the night before Jesus’ crucifixion.
Families are also invited to the church’s annual Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 4. The event — free for community children up to age 10 — includes crafts and snacks. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets.
The celebration continues with an Easter Service at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 5.
