Backyard composting the subject of Franklin Township workshop
Tri-County CleanWays and Community Partnership are working together to offer a workshop on backyard composting.
The workshop is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at the Artisan Resiliency Center, 781 New Castle Road in Franklin Township.
Participation is limited to 20 people. There is no cost to attend the workshop. All attendees will receive a complimentary compost bin.
The workshop will cover the basics of how to compost at home and the importance of composting as a way to reduce our waste stream and how this simple practice helps build clean and beautiful communities.
