The BETA Quartet, composed of Eftihia Arkoudis, Meg Brennen, Tatiana Cassetta and Cassandra Eisenreich, released an album in March that uses music as a vehicle for conversation, reflection and connection.

“Anthems of Dialogue,” which was released March 13 on streaming platforms, was developed as part of the group’s ongoing artistic vision inviting composers to explore the idea of dialogue through sound, storytelling and shared human experience.

A news release from the quartet said the album maintains a belief that music can foster meaningful exchange in a world often defined by division. The group describes the music as “pulsating with intention,” reflecting deeply personal and global perspectives on themes such as social justice, conflict, environmental concerns and human resilience. Rather than presenting a single viewpoint, the album creates space for multiple voices and experiences to coexist.

The project is part of the quartet’s broader Anthems of Dialogue Masterplan, an initiative dedicated to commissioning and promoting works that engage with contemporary issues, while expanding the repertoire for flute quartet. Through collaborations with composers and community engagement, the initiative seeks to position music as a catalyst for empathy, awareness and meaningful conversation.

Among the featured works is “Power Surge,” an award-winning composition recognized as a Silver Winner in the Global Music Awards, highlighting the project’s artistic excellence and international impact. A companion “Power Surge” music video has also been released on YouTube alongside the album.
