Joyce Marie (Kuehner) Anderson, 77, of Butler, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 21, 1948, in Butler, the daughter of the late Earl and Grace Kuehner.

Joyce spent her life caring for others and always put family first. From the time she was young, Findley Lake held a special place in her heart. It was her favorite place to spend the warmer months, surrounded by family, friends, laughter and activity. The more people and the more commotion, the happier she was.

She loved the sunshine, being around those she cared about and enjoying a Coors Light at the Legion. Joyce will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family and the joy she found in bringing people together.

Her family will remember her as someone whose greatest happiness came from caring for others and sharing time with the people she loved most.

Joyce was married in 1972, to Edward Anderson, who preceded her in death. She spent her later years with her special friend, Edward Bresnahan.

She was a loving mother to Heather (Tim) Fennell, Matt (Caryn) Anderson and Eric (Roni) Anderson. Joyce was a proud grandmother to Maddison and Zak Dovenspike, Kaytlin Anderson and Josh Harrison. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who were more like grandchildren to her. Joyce is also survived by her siblings, Sue (Mike) Wisniewski, Patricia Gearhart-Vojticek and Bob Kuehner.

Along with her parents and previous husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Dugan.

ANDERSON — Family and friends of Joyce Marie (Kuehner) Anderson, who died Friday, March 13, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Women’s Auxiliary, American Legion Post 117, in honor of Joyce.
