Lens on Litter photo contest open to entries once again
The Pennsylvania Resources Council has hosted an annual Lens on Litter Photo Contest since 1984 to call attention to litter problems in communities across Pennsylvania.
The contest is once again open for photo submissions. The council is inviting people to submit photos of unusual or unsightly examples of litter in their Pennsylvania neighborhoods for a chance to win up to $500.
Contestants are also asked to coordinate a cleanup of the area and submit before and after photos in a new category sponsored by Keep PA Beautiful. To qualify for the Before & After category, cleanups must be registered with Pick Up Pennsylvania at keeppabeautiful.org/pick-up-pa/. Instructions simplifying the Before & After registration process can be found at prc.org/lens-litter/.
For more information, email lensonlitter@prc.org, and online entry forms and previous winning photos can be found at prc.org/lens-litter/.
