Richard B. Klowak, 70, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Butler on June 27, 1955.

Richard was an avid gardener and horticulturalist who enjoyed woodworking and spending long days at the office. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his children, Richard Klowak (Jessica), Lacey McCrea, Alexis Day (Garrett), and his favorite child, Rascal Klowak. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Rica Klowak, who lit up the last few months of his life and fulfilled his long-held dream of becoming a grandfather — at least temporarily stopping him from nagging his other children about it.

KLOWAK — All services for Richard B. Klowak, who died Saturday, March 7, 2026, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

He will be interred into the creepy, malevolent pig statue at a later date.
