Donna L. Thompson, 66, of Butler, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026.

She was born in Pittsburgh on May 20, 1959, to John and Janet (Irwin) Thompson. Donna graduated from Knoch High School, Class of 1978.

She was a nurse’s aide at Children’s Rehab Center and then Butler Winding until the end of her career. Donna was a very passionate Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. She enjoyed feeding birds, horseback riding and just having a good time. Donna was caring towards everyone and would help anyone in need. She had a deep love of dogs, especially the Shih Tzu breed.

Donna is survived by her parents, John and Janet; and siblings, Thomas (Linda) and Todd (Aimee) Thompson, Jodi (Ed) Bohart and Michele Ryder. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and her beloved dog, T-Bear.

THOMPSON — All services for Donna L. Thompson, who died Sunday, March 8, 2026, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
