Trumbetta

Ruth E. (Jones) Trumbetta, 67, of Jeannette, died Sunday, March 8, 2026.

She was born Oct. 13, 1958, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ralph T. and Esther (Hollenberger) Jones.

Ruth grew up as the oldest of six sisters on a dairy farm in the Mars area. She attended Butler County Community College and received a bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris College. She was the owner of Greengate Associates, a tax accounting firm.

She is survived by her husband of over 43 years, Donald Trumbetta; her son, Thomas E. Trumbetta; her sisters, Esther Seebacher, Shirley Lawther, Rebecca Tyson, Janet Gitson and Rosemarie Streb; also many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

TRUMBETTA — Friends of Ruth E. (Jones) Trumbetta, who died Sunday, March 8, 2026, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12.
