Woman charged with stalking for alleged repeat visits to Adams Township residence

A woman was charged with stalking after she returned by Uber to a residence she had been ordered to leave by Adams Township police, who had given her a courtesy ride to the police station.

Shannon Rose Mignogna, 32, of Pitcairn, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of stalking and trespass following a Feb. 26 incident on Union Church Road.

Police said a man called to report that a woman was outside the residence and kept messaging him. The man said the woman refused to leave and was attempting to open the front and back doors.

Police said she had told the man she was coming over and the man asked her not to, locked all the doors and called his father, fearing for his safety.

Responding police said they recognized Mignogna after they responded to the residence three times the previous day and ordered her not to return.

The previous day, Mignogna reportedly told police she understood she was not to return. She was given a courtesy ride to the Adams Township police station, from which she was supposed to get an Uber to her home.

Police said she instead took the Uber back to the residence.

Mignogna’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 11 before District Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz.
