Butler police have charged a second man after a Feb. 22 search warrant execution on a Ninth Street home that uncovered more than 25 grams of controlled substances. Additional charges were added for a man previously arrested.

Dorrius J. Floyd, 20, of Warren, Ohio, was charged Tuesday, March 3, with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following the Feb. 22 search warrant.

Taylor Robert Sharkey, 35, of McKees Rocks, was charged Monday with one misdemeanor count each of tampering with evidence and drug paraphernalia possession. He was previously charged Feb. 22 with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, felony criminal conspiracy, two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession.

Police said they found unofficial weights of 17.9 grams of crack cocaine, 3.9 grams of powder cocaine, two bags of suspected methamphetamine and two vials of testosterone inside the home at 104 S. Ninth St.

Sharkey was apprehended walking outside near the residence and had a glass smoking pipe. His formal arraignment on all charges is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 21 in Butler County Common Pleas Court. He’s being held in Butler County Prison on a $5,000 bail.

Floyd’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
