Creese

Alayne M. Creese, 74, of Rimersburg, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, while at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born March 27, 1951, in Allegheny County, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty Madl McCanch.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked in retail sales.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking and bird-watching, but her favorite pastime was going with her best friend, Kathy, to Lake Erie to see the lighthouses and watching the tall ships.

Her survivors include her sons, John (Janisse) Creese Jr. and Don Creese; her grandson, Dalton Creese; her seven stepgrandchildren; her 22 great-grandchildren; her brother; as well as her sister, Caryn King.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Creese; and her former husband and the father of her children, John Creese Sr.

CREESE — There will be no services held for Alayne M. Creese, who died Monday, March 2, 2026.

Her family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
